Gears has a very lame ass story. Its short and been done many times before. Itsa BAD game story, it'll make an even worse movie.

COD4 is 5 hours. And its great for that! Games don't HAVE to be 60 hours long. Many don't suit that kind of length To tell a good story.
Take Bioshock for example. Its around 30hours. Why? When you kill Ryan, THAT should eb the end, not 15 hours later! Ken even admitted so at GCD. Its all about story and pacing. Films are different lenghts, so are books, why should games be any different? The game must serve the story and not the other way round.

I'm ready for another leap in graphics. Every 3-4 years is a nice time for a new console from my point of view. I like new hardware, i'm not poor, and i like amazing new graphics every 3 years. Thats why i love M$.

Its has a HUGE install base. So what do you expect? It will do well on PS3rd nodoubt, but xbox will do better. I'm expecting huge numbers of people buying an Arcade eith GTA next month.
People who haven't brought a next-gen console yet, havent done so for ONE reason. MONEY. They are poor. The Arcade is the cheapest next-gen console on the market, GTA is cheaper on 360....

Only kids and chavs buy it anyway! They like to think they're cool and 'mature' because its rated out of their league. The old PS2 games were crap. Crap frame rate, crap controls, i never understood how they got rated so highly. Yes, its a huge world, just reviewers seemed to be vblind to the bad gameplay. I'm SICK of playing games based around killing someone. Can't we have peaceful games? Can't the aim of the game not be killing hords of enemies? Jesus, when will the industry grow up?
Just because a lot of games oare on PC, doesnt take anything away from Xbox. M$ ARE PC, just like sony are PS3rd and PSP.
The fact that a lot of Xbox games are on PC is a good thing!

I really hope this guy is wrong. If the Xbox 720 and PS4 have sh!t graphics, i won't be buying one. I own a 360 for its amazing graphics. Only with high powered hardware can we hope to have truly mature adult games involving complex AI, story, and character.
I want the 720 next year to be at least twice as powerful as the 360. At LEAST!

Now i expect many might by a PS3rd for GTA, but the ones who haven't brought a next-gen console yet, are the ones with very little money. There will go for the cheapest console. The Xbox 360 Arcade.
